How To: Locate and access the Library Databases
- Go to: grayson.edu
- Click on MyViking and login
- Click on "On-Line Databases"
- Use your Grayson College MyViking credentials for access when prompted
The GC Library YouTube has quick tutorials on using many databases.
Why can't I connect to the databases?
Common solutions for database connection issues:
- Use Chrome.
- Clear cache in Chrome.
- Enable Pop-ups.
- If using a VPN, make sure it allows for a proxy connection or turn VPN off while accessing databases.
- If home router is owned by Sparklight or T-Mobile, contact provider and ask they turn on access to a proxy server.
- Make sure antivirus software and network settings are not blocking proxy connections.
- Close all opened tabs, open new Chrome incognito window and sign back into MyViking.
