Welcome to Grayson College!
Please use the following steps to setup your Grayson College employee account.
Please complete steps in order!
Do not skip steps!
Step 1: MyViking - Claim My Account - Employee
- Instructions: MyViking - Claim My Account - Employee
- Your Employee ID number will be emailed to your personal (non-@grayson.edu) email address from Human Resources during the onboarding process.
- Your Employee ID number is not your username.
- If you have not received your Employee ID number on/before your first day of work, please email hr@grayson.edu or call 903-463-8625
Step 2: Access Employee Email
- Go to: grayson.edu
- Click on MyViking and login
- Click on the Gmail icon located on the Applications page

Step 3: Activate eSELFSERVE - APS (Timesheets)
Use eSELFSERVE to access your pay stubs, tax forms, track time worked and manage schedules.
New employees will receive an email from eSELFSERVE.com (@mg.apspayrollonline.com) to activate their account.
Contact hr@grayson.edu for assistance with the activation email.
Log in: https://www.eselfserve.com/login_ess.php
Once your eSELFSERVE account is active, you can:
- Update personal information
- Make direct deposit or W4 changes
- Access paystubs and tax documents
- Clock in / Clock out - Hourly Employees
- If you are unsure if you need to clock in when you work,
please consult your supervisor.
- Request Time Off - Fulltime Employees only
- Submit Timesheets - Supervisor only
- Review, edit, and approve time entries and timesheets - Supervisor only

Step 4: First Day of Work
Identification:
As a reminder, please bring your identification to the Human Resources office on your first day of work to finalize your I-9 form.
A list of acceptable forms of ID were listed on the I-9 form in your onboarding portal, or may be found here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents
If you do not have an item from list A, then you will need one item from list B and one item from list C.
Grayson College Parking Permit:
Please visit the Campus Police office to pickup your parking permit after submitting the parking permit form online.
Key Request: Must be submitted by your Director to the Facility Services department.
Desk Phone & Zoom Phone: Start a ticket for assistance.
New Hire Picture ID: Obtain a Grayson College Employee Picture ID from Student Life Center.
Online Training:
Once you have been enrolled in online training courses, you will receive a link to the courses in your Grayson College employee email.
