DUO Mobile App (Two Factor Authentication)

NOTE: We strongly recommend adding an alternative phone number or device to your DUO Mobile account before your cell phone is lost/broken or replaced. Access to the physical phone associated with your account/DUO is required to sign in.

 

ACTIVATE

If you do not have a mobile phone on file you must activate your Duo Mobile account.

Please complete the following steps IN ORDER.

 

Step 1Using a laptop/computer

  1. Go to: www.grayson.edu
  2. Click on MyViking
  3. Enter your username and password
    • Avoid using AutoFill
    • First time users must claim their account before logging in.
  4. Click Go
  5. You will be prompted to set a new password, setup challenge questions, and setup DUO Mobile.
  6. Once a QR code appears, then move to step 2 below:

 

Step 2: Using your cell phone

  1. Go to the PlayStore (or the app where you download new apps/games)
  2. Search for and download Duo Mobile
  3. When prompted, name the new account "Grayson College"
  4. When prompted for a QR code, use the QR code displayed on your laptop/computer from Step 1
  5. When prompted, select DUO PUSH
  6. Follow the on screen instructions to activate the Duo Mobile App.

If you do have a mobile phone on file, watch the following step-by-step video to re-activate Duo Mobile.

If your mobile phone number has changed to a new number, please submit a ticket.
