- Click on MyViking and login
- Click on "Office365" icon
- Enter student email address, if prompted
As a Grayson College student, you will have access to Office365 on the first day of class.

How to access Microsoft Office on a Chromebook
You can’t install the Windows desktop versions of Microsoft 365 on a Chromebook. Please review the following link for instructions on accessing Microsoft Office on a Chromebook:

How to download and install Office 365 on a desktop or regular laptop.
Please access Office365 through the MyViking portal and use these additional steps to install Microsoft Office on your computer:
- Go to: www.grayson.edu
- Click on MyViking and login
- Click on "Office365" icon
- Enter student email address, if prompted
- Click on "Install and more" in the top right corner
- Click on "Install Microsoft 365 apps"
- Click on "Apps & devices" along the left navigation menu
- Click on the orange "Install Office" button
Please close all browsers and Word documents. Then log into MyViking and click on the "Office365" icon. You should get an option on the main section of the page to "Browse" documents, or along the top left corner select "File > Open" or something similar. Use the navigation popup to select and open your document.
If you lead by opening the Word document first, you will receive the "unlicensed" error message. You must open Office365 first, then pull your document into Office365.
